FOR OTERO
For far too long, the church has been known for what it is against. We want to be known for what we are FOR.

Pregnancy Help Center
Free Ultra Sounds
Stan Richardson is the Executive Director of Operations for Southwest Outreach, and Jane Richardson is the Director of the Pregnancy Help Center, an organization dedicated to helping young women find hope and practical help after getting the results of a pregnancy test. The Pregnancy Help Center exists under the auspices of Southern New Mexico Outreach, Inc. (a nonprofit, 501(c)3), which is a ministry of Youth With A Mission.
“Our passion is to offer hope and a future to women facing an unintended pregnancy,” Jane told us. Stan and Jane have been married for 33 years and moved to Alamogordo in 2004. They are here to help women navigate through their next steps.
They provide free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and have learning environments that cover topics such as baby care, parenting, relationships, health, and safety.
Because of your generosity, we are able to help cover some of their operating costs, making all of their services free to those facing this pivotal moment in their lives, and showing them that someone is FOR them and their baby.
Love Inc.
Operating Costs
Susan Payne is the Executive Director of Love Inc. of Otero County, a mobilization of the Church to transform lives and communities through meeting physical needs to give a leg up, not just a handout. Susan has been with the organization since they opened the doors in 2009. Her dedication to those in need is shared by almost 40 paid and volunteer staff. Love Inc.’s strategy is to be a clearinghouse, bringing together a person’s needs with resources on location or through one of their local partners.
“This ministry model of donation and volunteerism has enabled us to be the very best stewards we can be of the resources that have been entrusted to us.” They provide furniture, household goods, benevolence for rent, a pantry for food, and educational classes (from financial wellness to parenting, gardening, cooking, sewing, and marriage).
Because of your generosity, we are able to help cover some of their operational costs, making it possible to link those in need with an opportunity to transform their lives, by equipping them with the tools needed to move from a place of dependence to a fully independent lifestyle. They are truly FOR you in every aspect.
